My interview with Etcetera Area Development Manager

I recently had the pleasure of speaking with the beautiful Alison who is the Area Development manager for the clothing line Etcetera.  This is an awesome company!!  See my interview with her below!!  At the end you can read how you can become a wardrobe stylist with Etcetera and reap the wonderful benefits they offer!
Tell me about Etcetera - Etcetera is a women's fashion company based in New York City that was designed for women who have more style than time. Etcetera’s clothing is sold 4 times a year during a week-long trunk show which provides clients with beautiful, contemporary clothing, available through the efficient ease of personal shopping.

What is your favorite item you can purchase and why? Each piece features luxurious styling and is created with meticulous attention to detail, but my favorite items to purchase are their jackets and dresses. They truly are unique designs combined with exceptional fit. When you wear an Etcetera jacket or dress people will stop and ask you where you bought that piece.

Tell Me What Drove you to Work for the Company: My aunt Kathleen Warner has been a top-seller in Whitefish Bay, WI since the company started in 2001. I saw her balance a successful career in the fashion industry while raising 4 children.
It's no surprise that Etcetera is ranked in Money Magazine's Top 5 "Best Jobs in America for Parents Returning to Work" and among their Top 5 Sales Representative Jobs. And the awards don't stop there! Etcetera also received an "A" for Flexibility and an "A-" for Family-Friendly, along with other top scores for compensation and job growth potential.

What is your favorite fashion trend:
The Fur trend cannot be overstated - every major design house is using it as the embellishment of the season. Our Mink vest is the perfect fur 'accessory' because it can travel throughout one's wardrobe.
Tell me how you can go about viewing the merchandise:  Etcetera is available exclusively via appointment-only trunk shows and can be purchased through a wardrobe stylist. You can view the current collection at www.etcetera.com, but the best way to shop the collection is through a personal appointment.

Etcetera wardrobe stylists are trained to fit and style the collection, and because of this and a one-on-one appointment with a stylist we strive to have a low return rate. In the event that an item needs to be returned or exchanged there is a 30 day policy. Also, credit cards are not charged until the item ships from the warehouse.

What is the best part about working for Etcetera? I enjoy helping women find the perfect fit for style, career and family and my position with Etcetera allows me to do that for myself and for others. I also find great satisfaction out of teaching others how to achieve their goals for career success and for customers to feel good about themselves and look great wearing Etcetera whether it's casual, carpool, corporate or cocktails. Etcetera has a fit for every woman.

How can a fashionista come on board as a wardrobe stylist: We are hiring stylists in the San Antonio, Houston and the Austin areas. If you'd like to learn more about our expectations and the interview process to become a Wardrobe Consultant, please contact Area Development Manager Ali Luevano at 512-639-2218, or by sending an email to aliluevano@me.com
